From time immemorial India has been known as ‘The Land Of Spices’. The invigorating aroma, exhilarating taste, and vibrant color of these spices have captivated many for centuries leading to daring explorations, triumphant conquests, and fierce naval rivalry. India was the hub of the spice trade in both ancient and medieval times, with these valuable spices being called the ‘Treasures of the East’.
India continues to be a leader in the global spice market and caters to 48% of the world’s demand for spices. But over the years, adulteration in spices has been rearing fast and consumers are left with low-quality products that lack flavor.

Underneath the canopy of trees and acres of coffee and spice plantations, entrepreneurial couple Dr. GILBERT and Dr. BEENA found the inspiration for GilBee. Immersed in the aroma of coffee and spices, their desire to share the rich aroma, piquancy and flavour of the locally grown spices with the rest of the world grew. Gilbee is their illustrious venture that is all about bringing quality and authentic spices, “the real treasures of India” to every kitchen.
